FAQ
Fabricating the Work:
How much will it cost to fabricate my project?
This entirely depends on each specific project. However, there are many variables that need to be assessed before we can prepare a final price quote for you (IE. design, materials, scheduling, and a host of other potential costs). Before we figure out the exact costs involved we will ask you a number of questions to help sort it all out.
What kind of materials do I need to have ready to get started?
It is possible to begin with little more than a general idea of what you want to create and we can help you develop your idea from there. However, everything that you prepare in terms of sketches, models, photos and other source material make it that much easier to proceed. We have often worked directly with our clients to help them flesh out initial sketches early on in the conceptual process and will take up as much extra slack as possible in the production process. In general, the clearer you are about what you want to create the better.
What kind of deposit is needed to begin working?
As a general rule we always require at least 50% of the project costs up front to begin production. In some cases we are willing to create different pricing schedules as needed. We are also willing to roll a project out in phases of development to help keep the initial costs low while you are exploring the viablility of your ideas.
How long does it take to complete a project?
This varies greatly, however we are usually willing to work within a tight deadline if it is at all possible to complete the project in time. If there is an extremely tight deadline then rush charges may apply. We will always make every effort to solve the problem within specified, existing time and budget requirements.
What kind of work can you fabricate?
We can make just about anything you can imagine given the proper amount of time and budget. You can view of the diverse kind of projects we have preivously made by selecting the projects link in the sidebar. Even if you don't see something similar to what you are interested in making in our portfolio (or don't know of an example of it anywhere) please feel free to consult with us. Even if it is not something we are able to produce for you we will gladly point you in the right direction to find someone who can.
How large or small can the work be?
We are capable of working in virtually any scale required.
What is the best way to contact you about my project?
Initially it’s best to send me an email with a brief description of your project including your full contact info (please include a daytime phone number where you can be reached). I will get in touch with you at the earliest convenience to discuss everything in more detail.
